It's a big sports weekend along the D.C./Baltimore nexus. The cities' two baseball teams bring winning records into a series for the first time since the Nixon Administration (Thanks to CSN Washington's Mark Zuckerman for dredging up that stat). Maryland and Johns Hopkins meet in the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament quarterfinals at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis for the right to play in the national semifinals on Memorial Day weekend.
But most importantly, Saturday also sees the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore. The post position draw was Wednesday, and if you haven't checked out the post position analysis by Matt Gardner of Down The Stretch They Come, do so now.
But how can you make the right bet on the horses if you don't even know their names? Never fear. Matt Ufford and Dan Rubenstein of SB Nation Studios have you covered, as they get together for a little game we like to call "Name That Horse."
