2012 Preakness Stakes: Jockey Kent Desormeaux Replaced On Tiger Walk After Failed Breathalyzer Test

Two-time Preakness Stakes winning jockey Kent Desormeaux will not be a part of the 2012 race after failing a breathalyzer test Friday.

In an article by the New York Daily News, reports are that he will be replaced on the horse Tiger Walk by Ramon Dominguez for the race.

Desormeaux was attempting to ride in three mounts at Belmont Park in New York on Friday, however he failed the mandatory breathalyzer test that all jockeys must take before racing.

Alcohol has been a problem for Desormeaux before, as he has once before failed a breathalyzer test at a 2010 race in Ontario.
