Day 3 of the 2012 ACC Baseball Tournament sees a battle for Pool position in Pool A as Virginia players Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets defeated No. 1 seed Florida State, 5-4 in the tournament opener Wednesday, while the Cavaliers used an eighth-inning rally to defeat Clemson, 3-2 on Thursday. The winner of Friday's opener will be in good position to advance to Sunday's championship game.
All ACC tournament games are being played at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro, N.C., and they will all be televised by CSN Mid-Atlantic and streamed online at ESPN3.

11:00 a.m.: No. 8 Georgia Tech (1-0) Vs. No. 4 Virginia (1-0) (Pool A)
3:00 p.m.: No. 5 Clemson (0-1) Vs. No. 1 Florida State (0-1) (Pool A)
7:00 p.m.: No. 6 Miami (Fla.) (1-1) Vs. No. 7 Wake Forest (1-1) (Pool B)
