About a week and a half ago, SB Nation DC, along with our sister national site and others, posted a call for veterans of the armed forces to send in a video of them describing their most vivid sports-related memories from their time serving our country.
The responses we got were numerous, and more than enough to make a quality video. It's posted after the jump.
It's no surprise that SB Nation's own Matt Ufford contributed his memories, as well as a number of other veterans.
We thank Matt and the others for contributing their memories, we thank all our troops, past and present for their service, and we wish you a safe, solemn, and reflective Memorial Day holiday.
