The Washington Nationals are still in first place in the NL East, and they'll host the team who's crown they are trying to take in Washington this weekend. The first game of the series against Philadelphia is on Friday night, and Stephen Strasburg will be pitching. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 and you can find the game on MASN.

This is the culmination of project that the Nationals organization has been working on for quite a while, and the goal is to prevent Phillies fans from occupying the park. There has been a tradition of fans driving down from Philadelphia to attend these games and drowning out the Nationals fans. The team has used a lot of measures to try and prevent that for this series. Whether or not that works will be the most interesting part of this weekend series.

We'll have plenty more on the series throughout the weekend on SB Nation D.C., so keep it locked to this StoryStream for all of the latest news and updates.
