2012 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament: Loyola (MD) Draws No. 1 Seed

The 14-1 Greyhounds will open the tournament against Canisius on Saturday, while defending champion Virginia hosts Princeton Sunday.

The 2012 NCAA Men's selection show took place this evening and Loyola (MD) drew the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament.

Loyola (14-1) was the ECAC champions this season will face Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference champions Canisius (6-7) this Saturday, May 12th at 5 P.M. at the Ridley Athletic Complex.

The University of Maryland (9-5) drew No. 7 seed Lehigh (14-2) and will play on Sunday, May 13th at 7:30 P.M. at the Ulrich Sports Complex.

The University of Virginia (11-3) drew a No. 5 seed and will host Princeton (11-4) on Sunday, May 13th at 1 P.M. at Klockner Stadium.

Johns Hopkins (11-3) drew the No. 2 overall seed and will face Stony Brook (7-9) on Sunday, May 13th at 3 P.M. at Homewood Field.
