Nationals Vs. Pirates: Washington Back On Road In Steel City

The Washington Nationals have won two of their past three series, and now they welcome the Pittsburgh Pirates into town.

Presswire

The Washington Nationals have rebounded quite nicely from their trip to the West Coast, and they have taken their past two series against the Diamondbacks and the Phillies. They welcome an opponent into the District on Tuesday who might not have the same kind of intimidation as their previous two opponents. Their first game against the Pirates is on Tuesday, and first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm. You can find the game on MASN2.

The Nationals will send Edwin Jackson to the mound in Game 1, who has been inconsistently great so far this season. One game he's giving up two hits over a nine inning complete game, and the next he gives up four runs in the first. But he is the No 4 starter for the Nationals, and that's about all you can ask for. Let's hope we get good Edwin tonight.

We'll have plenty more on this series over the course of the next few days on SB Nation D.C., so keep it locked to this StoryStream for all the latest news and updates. As always, you can head over to Federal Baseball for more on this series and all things Washington Nationals baseball.
