Jim Furyk's strong second round has placed him at the top of the leaderboard at the 2012 U.S. Open while Tiger Woods is just two strokes behind in second place.
Furyk entered the day at even par but put in a solid score of 69 to end the day one-under. He is currently the only player with a score under par for the tournament.
Tiger Woods is currently right behind at even par. He is shooting one-over for the day after 12 holes.
A fun story emerged in the day when for a brief time, 17-year-old amateur Beau Hossler took sole possession of first place earlier in the afternoon. He is currently at plus one through 14 holes.
