2012 U.S. Open Golf: TV Schedule, Live Updates, Streaming And More

Third round play at the 2012 U.S. Open begins play Saturday, with the field having been trimmed to just 72 golfers after an arduous first two rounds at The Olympic Club in San Francisco. With play occurring on the West Coast, golf fans will once again be treated to primetime coverage of the championship. Americans Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk and David Toms find themselves tied atop the leaderboard, at 1-under par for the tournament. Woods and Furyk will be the final pairing on Saturday, teeing off at 6:05 p.m. EST.

NBC will have the television coverage on Saturday, broadcasting six hours of third round play beginning at 4:00 p.m. EST. Dan Hicks and Johnny Miller will be in the booth, with the usual cast of characters situated as key holes around the course.

In addition to the television coverage, golf fans will be able to watch some play online via a stream at USOpen.com. From 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. EST a live stream of the eighth and 18th holes will be available.

The radio broadcast also begins at 4:00 p.m. EST and is available online and on select smartphones. Fans can find the full 2012 U.S. Open leaderboard and follow live scoring at USOpen.com.
