2012 U.S. Open Odds: Tiger Woods Favorite To Capture Championship

As third round play in the 2012 U.S. Open begins at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, a trio of Americans sit atop the leaderboard, all at 1-under par. In fact, Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk and David Toms are the only golfers to have broken par through two rounds of play.

As might be expected, Woods is now the favorite to win the tournament, coming in at 5-4 odds according to Bovada. Woods is looking to capture his first major championship since 2008. Furyk, playing in the final pairing with Woods on Saturday, enters the round at 5-1 odds to capture the title. Toms is currently 10-1 to win the Open.
