Forty-five minutes in and there hasn't been any scoring, as D.C. United and the Philadelphia Union are locked in a scoreless draw at halftime at PPL Park in Chester, Penn.
Despite the even score, the Union have had far more scoring chances, with nine shots, including three on goal, compared to just two from D.C. United. But with three saves, goalie Bill Hamid has kept United in the contest in spite of the discrepancy.
United, though carrying a three-game winning streak into tonight's match, is looking to bounce back from the team's last meeting on June 5, which resulted in a 2-1 win for Philadelphia in a U.S. Open Cup match.
