Friday was the last day for committed entrants to withdraw from the 2012 AT&T National at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda. Washington Post golf writer Barry Svrluga tweeted the specifics regarding who is in and who is out.
Commitments are in for AT&T National. Biggest ones -- Tiger, Furyk, Dustin Johnson, Mahan, Watney, Adam Scott -- we knew about.

Other field notes: No Webb Simpson (also sitting out British b/c of impending birth of child); no Rickie Fowler or Bubba Watson.

It's a blow not to have either the Masters or U.S. Open champion at this tournament, though we certainly respect Webb Simpson's reason for skipping. All in all, it's a pretty strong field that should provide a solid week's entertainment at Congressional.
