Wimbledon 2012 Results: Roger Federer Cruises, Samantha Stosur And Caroline Wozniacki Upset In Second Round

In second round action at Wimbledon on Wednesday, the Men's side has little to no surprises. No. 3 seed Roger Federer won in straight sets over Fabio Fognini, 6-1, 6-3, 6-2. American Andy Roddick is currently leading his second round match against Jamie Baker, having won the first two sets. Roddick currently trails in the third set 3-4. Other notable men's winners so far include No. 7 David Ferrer, No. 15 Juan Monaco, No. 21 Milos Raonic and No. 31 Florian Mayer. No. 25 Stanislas Wawrinka was upset in his second round match.

On the women's side, there were a pair of big upsets. No. 5 Samatha Stosur of Australia lost her second round match to Arantxa Rus of the Netherlands 6-2, 0-6, 6-4. No. 7 Caroline Wozniacki was also upset in her first round match against Tamira Paszek of Austria 5-7, 7-6 (7-4), 6-4. Notable winners on the women's side include No. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska, No. 10 Sara Errani, No. 14 Ana Ivanovic, and No. 15 Sabine Lisicki.

American Sloane Stephens upset No. 23 Petra Cetkovska of the Czech Republic, 7-6 (8-6), 4-6, 6-3. No. 13 Dominika Cibulkova was upset in her first round match by Klara Zakopalova, 6-4, 6-1.
