2012 AT&T National: Tiger Woods Three Shots Back After 2nd Round 68

With triple digit temperatures beating down on the field at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland, the second round is well underway and tournament host Tiger Woods is climbing his way up the leaderboard. In the second round, Woods shot a three-under 68 on the round to move to two-under for the tournament, three strokes behind current leaders Robert Garrigus, Brendon de Jonge and Jimmy Walker.

Garrigus earned a share of the lead after shooting a four-under 67 in the second round. Walker and de Jonge hit two-under 69s to improve on their three-under rounds from Thursday.

Rod Pamperling also shot a 67 in the second round and stands one shot behind the leaders with a four-under for the tournament. Vijay Singh has only just started his second round and stands two strokes behind the leaders. As of right now, the projected cut is at four-over for the tournament.
