Virginia Tech, West Virginia Centers Make Rimington Trophy Watch List

Two D.C. area centers - Virginia Tech's Andrew Miller and West Virginia's Joe Madsen - were named as part of the watch list for the annual Rimington Trophy, given at the end of each college football season to the game's best center.

Miller is a redshirt junior and the lone returning starter to the V Tech offensive line in 2012. He started all 14 games last year, playing 900 snaps at center and didn't miss a start despite multiple injuries.

Madsen is a redshirt senior who has started every game of his career, and returns in 2012 with one of the most veteran offensive lines in college football.

Both schools have featured Rimington Trophy winners since the award's inception in 2000, with the Hokies' Jake Grove winning in 2003, and WVU's Dan Mozes winning in 2006.
