Team USA Basketball Vs. Brazil: President Obama To Attend Doubleheader

It's no secret that President Barack Obama is a huge basketball fan. And with the U.S. men's and women's basketball teams stopping in Washington for an exhibition against Brazil before heading over to London for the Summer Olympics, it's no surprise that the Commander-In-Chief would want to pop in to check out the best and brightest that USA Basketball has to offer.

From The Hill:

Obama is scheduled to arrive at the Verizon Center, where both the men's and the women's games are taking place, at 7:10 p.m on Monday. The women's Brazil-USA game starts at 5:30 p.m. and the men's game at 8 p.m, meaning the president will likely miss most of the women's game.

Shrewd move by the President. Puts us in mind of when we frequented high school basketball doubleheaders back in the day. Get in to see the business end of the women's game, then relax and enjoy the men's game in full. That's the work of a veteran basketball watcher.
