Michael Phelps isn't going to try and repeat the record-breaking eight gold medal performance of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. However, the swimmer is still clearly one of the headliners of the entire US Olympic Team and is the most recognizable face in a crowd of several athletes with ties to the Washington D.C. area.
