Greenbrier Classic Leaderboard: Vijay Singh Leads After First Round, Tiger Woods 1-Over

Vijay Singh stole the day at the Greenbrier Classic, but there are a number of great players not far behind him after one round of play at The Old White Course. Singh birdied his final four holes and posted an extremely impressive 30 on the back nine for a score of 7-under on the day, which has him alone in first place.

Jeff Maggert, Martin Flores and Jonathan Byrd all trail Singh by one stroke at 6-under par. Webb Simpson headlines the group at 5-under par, while K.J. Choi lurks at 4-under.

Most of golf's biggest names are either in Europe or taking the week off in preparation for the British Open, but there are a couple of huge names at the Greenbrier, and they're not faring too well. Both Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are 1-over par after the first round, and are in serious danger of missing the cut if they don't put together very good rounds on Friday.
