D.C. United (11-7-3) hits the road on Saturday, traveling to Livestrong Sporting Park in Kansas City to take on Sporting KC (12-7-4). United have won seven straight games at RFK Stadium, but have not fared well on the road of late, losing three consecutive contests. DCU's last win in Kansas City came in July of 2007, and the Black-and-Red are 0-3-3 since in battles with Sporting KC.
United trails Kansas City by four points in the Eastern Conference, and is coming off a 1-0 win over Columbus last Saturday that halted a 1-3-0 slide. Dwayne De Rosario injured his shoulder in the first half of that match, but DCU coach Ben Olsen expects De Rosario to be able to play against Sporting KC.
The game will kickoff at 8:30 p.m. EST and be shown in the DC area on Comcast Sportsnet.
