Nationals Vs. Diamondbacks: Washington Aims For Eighth Straight Win On Saturday Night In Arizona

The red-hot Washington Nationals (70-43) look to continue their winning ways when they face the scuffling Arizona Diamondbacks (57-56) on Saturday night at Chase Field in Phoenix. Washington is looking to win their eight straight overall and on the road. The Nationals have won 11 of their last 12 road contests, and have a MLB-best 38-21 road record.

Edwin Jackson (6-7, 3.56 ERA) will be on the hill for Davey Johnson's club. Jackson, who threw a no-hitter as a member of the Diamondbacks, is 1-2 with a 3.86 ERA in five starts against Arizona. He allowed four runs in six innings of work when these two team's squared off on May 2.

Left-hander Wade Miley (12-7, 2.85 ERA) will take the mound for Arizona. Miley is coming off two solid starts against Los Angeles and Pittsburgh, and earned his first major league win in an August 25 start against the Nationals.
