The Washington Redskins looked good in their first preseason game, defeating the Buffalo Bills 7-6 on the road.

On Saturday night, Mike Shanahan and his team will have another tough test with a trip to Soldier Field and the Chicago Bears next on the schedule.

It will be interesting to see how Robert Griffin III plays against Julius Peppers, Lance Briggs and the rest of the monsters of the midway. The Bills have a defense still looking to gel with so many new additions. Chicago knows it's scheme and should give Redskins fans a good barometer on how the offensive line is coming along.

One area to watch for improvement is the running game. Against Buffalo, the Redskins only managed 87 yards on 32 carries. The team also took nine penalties in the contest, another area that can be rectified going forward.

On the injury front, the big news that came down this week was the loss of nose tackle Chris Neilds, who looked like a promising back-up. Jammal Brown is also still out with a hip injury that has him on the PUP list.
