Redskins Vs. Buccaneers Score Update: Washington Leads 16-0 At Half

The Washington Redskins lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16-0 at halftime in their fourth and final preseason game at FedEx Field.

Robert Griffin III never saw action on Wednesday night, getting some rest before the Sept. 9 regular season opener. Kirk Cousins has played the entire game thus far and looked solid once again, completing 12-of-22 passes for 151 yards.

Evan Royster has been the main component of the rushing attack for Mike Shanahan's team, gaining 44 yards and scoring the lone touchdown of the game. Roy Helu has seen limited time as well and has accrued 27 yards on only five carries.

Anthony Armstrong has had a nice evening, accounting for two catches and 61 yards. Newly-acquired Billy Cundiff has been busy, with four field goal attempts. He was true from 27, 39 and 22 yards out before missing a 46-yard try.

The Washington defense has been stellar, allowing just 38 yards on 22 plays. In fact, the Bucs only have a paltry 3 yards rushing in the contest.
