London Olympics 2012 Results: Francena McCorory Finishes Seventh In Women's 400m

Hampton's Francena McCorory wasn't able to fully realize her Olympic dream in the women's 400m final, as she was only able to muster a seventh place finish in the race with a time of 50.33 seconds.

Her USA teammate, Sanya Richards-Ross took home the gold with a time not even a full second quicker than McCorory, as she won with a time of 49.55 seconds. Another American, Dee Dee Trotter, won the bronze with a time of 49.72 seconds. Winning the silver was Christine Ohuruogu with a time of 49.70 seconds.

This is not the end of the road for McCorory in the 2012 Olympics, as she is scheduled to be a part of the 4x400m relay team that will compete later this week.
