Brooklyn Nets To Meet With Andray Blatche, According To Report

Andray Blatche, now a free agent after being amnestied by the Washington Wizards this offseason, will meet with the Brooklyn Nets this weekend. Via ESPNNewYork.com:

Looking to explore all of their options, Nets coach Avery Johnson will meet with Blatche sometime over the weekend, league sources confirmed.

Both Johnson and Blatche are living in the Houston area during the offseason, which makes it easy for them to meet with one another.

Blatche was drafted 49th in the 2005 NBA draft and averaged 9.9 points and 5.4 rebounds in his time in Washington. The Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs have also expressed interest in the talented but much-maligned 6'11" power forward.
