Virginia Vs. Georgia Tech Halftime Score: Yellow Jackets Cruising 35-7

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are putting a beating on the Virginia Cavaliers, leading 35-7 at halftime in Bobby Dodd Stadium on Saturday.

The difference in the contest has been the rushing attack of Paul Johnson's team. The Yellow Jackets have used the option to perfection, racking up 277 yards on just 29 attempts.

It's been a day of big plays for Georgia Tech against this Cavaliers defense. The first touchdown was on a 70-yard touchdown pass from Tevin Washington to Zach Laskey. The second score was courtesy of a Orwin Smith 77-yard scamper.

Washington has proven to be a dual-threat on the afternoon, throwing for 110 yards and running for 81.

Michael Rocco has been somewhat of a bright spot thus far for Virginia, completing 10-of-16 for 92 yards and a touchdown toss to Jake McGee.

The return game for the Cavaliers has also been promising. Khalek Shepherd amassed 97 yards on two kick returns including a 72-yard beauty.
