Bowling Green Vs. Virginia Tech 2012 Results: Hokies Cruise To 37-0 Win

The Virginia Tech Hokies had an easy time with the Bowling Green Falcons on Saturday, cruising to a 37-0 win in Blacksburg, Va. It's a big bounce-back win for the Hokies, who dropped a bad game against Pitt the previous weekend.

The game started slowly for both teams, with Virginia Tech not breaking through until almost five minutes into the second quarter, on a touchdown pass from Logan Thomas to J.C. Coleman. The Hokies made up for lost time, however, and were up by a comfortable 21-0 score at halftime.

Thomas went only 11-26 for 144 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, but added 65 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Michael Holmes and Martin Scales chipped in with one rushing rushing touchdown each, and Coleman and Dyrell Roberts both caught touchdown passes for the Hokies.
