The Virginia Tech Hokies are not yet back in the Top 25, but they have made up ground, receiving votes in the latest Associated Press Poll.
Breaking into the poll this week are Oregon State, Rutgers and Baylor. Oregon State upset its second top-25 team in as many games on the season when they defeated UCLA, 27-20, in Westwood. Rutgers is ranked in the top-25 for only the sixth time ever, as the Scarlet Knights are off to an impressive 4-0 start, including a victory over Arkansas in Fayetteville. Baylor is also off to an undefeated start and made its way into the poll after outlasting Louisiana Monroe, one of the more impressive Sun Belt teams this season.
Dropping out of the poll are UCLA, Arizona and Michigan. Arizona lost in a rout to Oregon, which is now ranked above LSU at No. 2. Michigan lost to Notre Dame team, marking the Wolverines' second loss on the year.
