Brewers Vs. Nationals: Washington Down 2-0 To Milwaukee Entering Fifth Inning

The Washington Nationals trail the Milwaukee Brewers 2-0 after five innings of play on Sunday. Chien Ming-Wang, getting the start to allow Jordan Zimmermann extra rest, has allowed eight hits and two runs in his four innings of work. Wang has even chipped in at the plate, hitting a double in the third inning.

Milwaukee starter Yovani Gallardo has struck out three and walked one, allowing four hits in four innings. National League MVP candidate Ryan Braun is 2-2 on the day, driving in one Brewers run, with catcher Jonathan Lucroy driving in the other Milwaukee run.

Jayson Werth has one of the four hits off Gallardo, and first baseman Adam LaRoche hit his 32nd double of the season in the second inning.
