Brandt Snedeker had a highly productive Sunday at the 2012 Tour Championship, shooting a 2-under par round of 68 to capture not only the tournament title but also the 2012 FedEx Cup. Snedeker finished three shots ahead of Justin Rose. Rose carded a 1-over par final round of 71 to finish at 7-under par for the tournament, trailing only Snedeker's 10-under. Luke Donald and Ryan Moore finished tied for third at 6-under par.

Tiger Woods finished eighth, and third in the FedEx Cup standings, after shooting a final round, 2-over par 72. Rory McIlroy, the winner of three of his past four events, placed 10th in the Tour Championship and finished second in the FedEx Cup standings.
