FedEx Cup Standings 2012: Brandt Snedeker Wins, Tiger Woods Finishes Third

The 2012 FedEx Cup circuit has wrapped up after four terrific playoff events. Brandt Snedeker capped off a terrific year with a win at the Tour Championship on Sunday, which propelled him four spots in the FedEx Cup standings to secure the first title of his career. Snedeker finished with 4,100 points, beating out Rory McIlroy by 1,273.

Tiger Woods placed third with 2,663 points, which is impressive considering his struggles earlier in the year. Nick Watney took fourth with 2,215 points, while Phil Mickelson was fifth at 2,073.

Following a strong showing over the weekend at the Tour Championship, Justin Rose jumped up 18 spots from 24th to sixth. He ended his FedEx Cup tour with 1,770 points. Louis Oosthuizen was right behind Rose with 1,635 points. Dustin Johnson (1,527), Luke Donald (1,275) and Lee Westwood (1,205) rounded out the top-10 standings.
