Louisiana Tech Vs. Virginia score update: Cavaliers leading 21-10 in second quarter

The Virginia Cavaliers are looking pretty good in the second quarter against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, leading 21-10 at Scott Stadium.

Virginia has been attacking through the air, gaining 245 passing yards early on. The Cavaliers started off the scoring with a trick play, when running back Perry Jones launched a 36-yard touchdown pass to Tim Smith.

Quarterback Michael Rocco has been sensational in his own right, completing 8-of-9 passes for 209 yards and also tossing touchdowns to Paul Freedman and a 73-yard bomb to Khalek Shepherd.

However, the Bulldogs don't appear ready to roll over. Despite falling behind 14-3, Louisiana Tech regrouped behind signal-caller Colby Cameron, who directed a 8-play, 39 yard drive that culminated with a touchdown pass to R.A. Stewart.

The only true downside thus far for Virginia is a lack of discipline that has led to six penalties. Neither team has been able to run the ball, combined for a measly 48 yards.
