With his one-stroke win in the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship Monday, Rory McIlroy took home a first place prize of $1.44 million. With the purse, McIlroy has now won $6,402,192 in prize money this season.
Tiger Woods, who finished third, took home $544,000 and also made a little history. With the purse, Woods became the first player to win $100 million in his career, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
Louis Oosthuizen finished second and won $864,000 while Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson finished in a tie for fourth and each took home $352,000.
