The Washington Redskins lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 21-6, at halftime at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday.
Robert Griffin III got off to a hot start, and is now 12-of-15 for 145 yards passing through the first two quarters of play. Griffin also scored a rushing touchdown and set up another score when he fumbled during a first-quarter run. Pierre Garcon recovered Griffin's fumble for a touchdown. Alfred Morris also scored for the Redskins on a 39-yard touchdown dash right up the middle of the field.
The Buccaneers could only manage two field goals in the first half by Connor Barth, both of which were at least 50 yards in length. Buccaneer quarterback Josh Freeman was 13-of-22 in the first half, but only had 88 passing yards and also threw an interception.
The first half came to a close on a 57-yard field goal attempt by Billy Cundiff that came up short.
