Day 14 at the 2012 U.S. Open will feature three matches at Arthur Ashe Stadium, including two men's semifinal clashes and the women's final. Andy Murray will face Tomas Berdych in the first match of the day at 11 a.m. ET. Murray is still searching for his first slam win, but is coming off a strong gold-medal showing at the All-England Club last month. Berdych pulled off the upset of Roger Federer in the quarters and also boasts a successful career record against the favored Murray.
Novak Djokovic will take the court in the second men's semifinal on Ashe. He'll have to get by Spaniard David Ferrer if he wants a date in the final. Djokovic was challenged by Juan Martin Del Potro in his last match, but still moved through in straight sets. Ferrer, on the other hand, had an all-out five-set war with Janko Tipsarevic and could face fatigue issues against the defending U.S. Open champion.
Finally, the women will take center stage for the final between Serena Williams and No. 1 Victoria Azarenka. Serena has yet to drop a set, but Azarenka is also playing some of the best tennis of her career. Williams has overwhelmed her opponents to date but she can't afford any lapses as she goes for her second slam of the summer. Their match is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
CBS will carry coverage of all three matches, beginning at 11 a.m. ET with the first men's semifinal.
