Playing their final non-conference game of the season on Wednesday, the Richmond Spiders notched an easy victory over Air Force, 91-68. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Spiders.
Kendall Anthony had a night to remember in the victory. The sophomore scored a career-high 31 points, going 7-for-9 from beyond the arc in the win. His previous high was 24 points.
It wasn't a bad night for his teammate, Darien Brothers, either. He finished with 25 points and went 6-for-9 from deep.
Richmond jumped all over Air Force to start the game. The Spiders were up 48-30 by the time the game hit halftime. The 91 points were the most Richmond has scored since its second game of the season.
The Spiders are now 10-5 as they prepare for their first game of the Atlantic 10 season. They will open up conference play at home against Rhode Island on Jan. 9.
