The Colonial Athletic Association tournament begins on Saturday. The conference is only expected to get the one automatic bid for the NCAA tournament. Due to postseason bans of Towson, UNC Wilmington, Old Dominion and Georgia State, only seven teams will be participating in this year's tourney.
The Northeastern Huskies are the regular season champions and the only team to earn a first-round bye. They are slim favorites in this tournament, with KenPom only giving them a 24.5% probability of winning it all. The Delaware Blue Hens aren't too far behind, with 22.6%. The rest of the field is equally crowded, with George Mason, Drexel and James Madison all given roughly equal odds. If nothing else, it should make for an interesting week of basketball, as every game from here out is "win or go home."
