Well, that was an emphatic way to get your first home win of the season. After allowing FC Dallas to pull even on an Emiliano Dudar defensive error, D.C. United completely took command in the second half and scored the final three goals of the game. They're all after the jump, and as the late, great, Kenneth Wolstenholme would say, they're all "ten out of ten and one for neatness."
Here's Nick DeLeon's second goal of the season, which turned out to be the game-winner.
And here's Danny Cruz's goal, which made the score, 3-1. Great effort by DeLeon to win the ball on the touchline and let a pinpoint cross go.
And here's the coup de grace from Santos that provided the final margin. Look at the first-time ball from Dwayne De Rosario, as well.
That is a thing of beauty.
