VIDEO: Chris Pontius' Game-Winning Goal Against New England

We know, we know, everyone's gonna go nuts about a certain other goal by a D.C. team that beat a certain other team from New England Saturday afternoon. But before everyone heads out to the bars to proclaim their undying love for Nicklas Backstrom and Marcus Johansson, let's take a last look at Chris Pontius' game-winning goal for D.C. United against the New England Revolution.

In case you missed the game, Pontius was D.C. United's final substitute, Ben Olsen's final throw of the dice. He came on in the 79th minute with the score tied at 1-1 and proceeded to do what you're about to see below the jump.

Oh, lord, that's so pretty. Look at the skill on the ball, the composure, the curled finish. Gorgeous.
