When D.C. United (1-2-1) hosts the Seattle Sounders (2-1-0) on Saturday evening at RFK Stadium, DCU will be looking to win back-to-back games for the first time since June of 2009. A win against the Sounders would come on the heels of an impressive 4-1 win over FC Dallas. This is Seattle's first road match of the season.

United will be without defender Brandon McDonald, suspended for Saturday's contest for his tackle on Blas Perez last Friday. DCU will however get back an offensive weapon in Andy Najar, fresh off a successful Olympic qualifying bid with Honduras. Dwayne DeRosario has yet to score in four starts this season, but is still the focal point of United's attack.

The Sounders will counter with the offensive playmaking of Fredy Montero, though Seattle teammate and equal offensive threat Mauro Rosales will likely not play Saturday evening.

In six all time meetings, DCU has won two matches, with the Sounders taking three contests and one tie occurring. This will be the only league meeting between the teams this season.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday night at RFK Stadium.
