D.C. United will host the struggling New England Revolution on Saturday night as D.C. looks to climb back into a playoff spot.
United are currently at 12-10-5, which leaves them one point short of the fifth and final playoff spot in the East. After starting the season hot, D.C. entered July in first place. But since then, the team is 2-5-2, and things are not expected to get any easier.
Last year's MVP Dwayne De Rosario is expected to miss 10 to 12 weeks with a sprained left knee, which means he will be out for the rest of the season. Branko Boskovic is likely to fill in at midfielder.
New England, meanwhile, is eliminated from playoff contention, despite the fact that they are coming off a win against Columbus.
Saturday's matchup will begin at 7:30 p.m ET.
