D.C. United And Chicago Fire Play To A Scoreless Draw

Bridgeview, IL (Sports Network) - D.C. United and the Chicago Fire battled to a scoreless draw in Major League Soccer action at Toyota Park on Saturday.

The game was the last home game for Fire forward Brian McBride, who is retiring at the end of the season.

The shutout was the MLS-record 17th time United has been blanked this season.

With neither team headed to the playoffs, they will both wrap up their 2010 seasons next weekend. The Fire (8-12-9) conclude at Chivas USA, while D.C. United (6-19-4) finishes up at home vs. Toronto FC.
