The only way United could have gotten off to a better start tonight would be if Jaime Moreno had scored instead.

The team came out high on energy following several tributes to Moreno prior to kick off. It didn't take long for that energy to translate into a goal.

Andy Najar started the play, using his speed on the right wing to send in a cross to Pablo Hernandez. Hernandez's shot was saved by former United goalkeeper Milos Kocic, but the rebound fell straight to the foot of Santino Quaranta, who was able to convert for his second goal of the season.

Quaranta is in line to take over as captain for United following Moreno's retirement. It may be cliche, but we may be seeing a literal changing of the guard at RFK Stadium tonight.
