The perfect story continues for D.C. United. On the final match of Jaime Moreno's MLS career, he has recaptured the all-time scoring title.

Some have criticized Moreno for scoring so many of his 133 career goals via penalty kick. What is often ignored though is that Moreno creates many of those penalty kick opportunities himself.

That's exactly what happened at RFK Stadium in the 39th minute. After a long clearance by goalkeeper Troy Perkins, Moreno found himself facing Toronto FC midfielder Julian De Guzman in the wide left portion of the box. Moreno faked a cross, and then attempted to send the ball into the center of the area. The ball deflected off of De Guzman's raised arm and the referee pointed to the penalty spot.

Moreno is the best penalty taker in MLS history, and the pressure was no problem for him. Every fan in the stadium has now got what they wanted tonight - a Jaime Moreno goal. He finished clinically in the right side netting, giving TFC goalkeeper Milos Kocic no chance for the save.
