Charlie Davies already celebrated his first two goals with D.C. United in style, doing the Stanky Leg after his goals in D.C. United's season opener. But now, he has moved the bar up even higher after his celebration following his goal against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday.
↵Davies, as you can see in the video, ran over to the Volkswagon that was parked right beyond the field, and tried to get inside it. He figured the car door would be open, allowing him to jump inside and pretend to have his teammates join him in the car. Instead, the door was locked, forcing Davies to improvise a little bit.
↵If I may say so myself, the improvisation was probably cooler than if he was indeed able to get in the car. Davies instead decided to run around and eventually do some dance called The Bernie, which, as you probably guessed, is based off the movie "Weekend At Bernie's." I wonder what Davies has planned next.
