Charlie Davies' hamstring injury is healing, and the D.C. United forward has been upgraded to probable for the Black and Red's next game against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Friday. Via Steven Goff of the Washington Post:
Charlie Davies, D.C. United's leading scorer who missed Sunday's MLS match at Portland, has been upgraded to probable for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Galaxy in Carson, Calif.
Davies has not played since suffering the injury three weeks ago in a game against the Colorado Rapids. The injury has only caused Davies to miss one league contest, but it probably cost him a chance to make the U.S. National Team's roster for the CONCACF Gold Cup.
Davies would probably come on as a substitute, at least until he gets his conditioning back. He remains D.C. United's leading scorer this season with six goals in nine games.
