George Mason is currently winning against a top CAA team on its home floor, and they have Cam Long to thank for it. Long has been on fire all half, as he has 13 points to lead George Mason to a 33-32 halftime lead over James Madison in this key CAA showdown.
Long has missed just one shot and hit all three of his three-pointers. In fact, he's only taken four shots to score his 13 points, scoring incredibly efficiently. He scored most of his points early in the half, and added two assists later on as defenders tightened up on him.
If only the rest of the team joined him. Long is shooting 3-4, but the rest of the team is shooting just 6-22. Luckily, they have done well defensively, holding the Dukes to just 37 percent shooting. Denzel Bowles leads James Madison with nine points, including a deep three-pointer at the buzzer to cut the lead to 33-32.
