George Mason Vs. UNC-Wilmington: Patriots Look To Go 8-1 In CAA

George Mason looks to increase their lead in the CAA standings when it takes on UNC-Wilmington.

The George Mason Patriots will look to go 8-1 in the CAA when they travel to take on UNC-Wilmington on the road on Monday night. Tip time is set for 9 p.m.

George Mason is coming off a tighter-than-expected win over winless Towson at home on Saturday. The Tigers managed to cut the deficit to five with two minutes to go before falling, 72-60. Still, the win moved George Mason to 7-1 in the conference, one game ahead of Drexel, Old Dominion and Virginia Commonwealth.

UNC-Wilmington is currently 8-10 overall and 4-4 in the CAA. The Seahawks are coming off a 68-66 win over lowly William & Mary on Saturday. Prior to that game, they had lost their last three in a row.

This is one of several CAA games on the schedule on Monday. Should the Patriots be upset, all three teams right behind them could move into a tie for first place in the conference.
