George Mason Vs. Northeastern: Patriots Play Penultimate CAA Game Against Huskies

In the second-to-last game of the regular season, can the Patriots avoid a let down in Boston?

The George Mason Patriots have only a pair of games remaining on their regular season schedule and are still tied with Drexel for the regular season championship in the CAA. The Patriots ship up to Boston for a game against the Northeastern Huskies.

The Patriots have usually had a difficult time of playing up at Northeastern, but last year Mason came away with an 88-60 victory over the Huskies. The Patriots are coming off of a victory over Lamar in the ESPN Bracketbusters on Saturday where they gave away an 18-point lead in the second half before finishing the game. Northeastern on the other hand lost their bracketbuster game against Stony Brook giving away a nine-point lead with six minutes remaining.

The Patriots have to come out strong in this game and not let up because if Northeastern is allowed back into the game, the Patriots could get a crippling loss close to the CAA tournament.

Drexel has their game Wednesday night hosting James Madison and then closes out their season Saturday visiting Old Dominion.

The game Wednesday night is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip off and is being broadcast on ESPN3.com.
