George Mason Vs. Northeastern Final Score: Patriots Fall In Overtime, 85-82

George Mason went on the road to take on Northeastern on Wednesday night hoping to hold onto the CAA division lead. The Colonials led 38-31 at halftime, but the Huskies proved to be tough in the second half. The Huskies went on a run in the second half to take the lead, but George Mason was able to rally back and take the lead.

Unfortunately for George Mason, Northeastern wasn't going to just surrender the lead easily and powered back to tie the game and send it into overtime. The Patriots took the lead early in halftime and looked like they'd pull out the win, but once again the Huskies rallied back and took the lead, holding it for the 85-82 upset over George Mason.

With the loss, George Mason's top spot in the CAA conference is in jeopardy. Mike Morrison finished the game with 19 points, leading the Patriots, while Ryan Pearson and Vertrail Vaughns,Vertrail Vaughns finished the game with 11 points. For the Huskies in the upset, Jonathan Lee was a big reason for the overtime victory with 27 points. Kashief Edwards also picked up 22 points in the win while Joel Smith added 19 points for Northeastern.
