James Madison Vs. George Washington: Colonials Look To Snap Losing Streak

A victory against the Dukes would give the Colonials their first win since Nov. 23.

George Washington will look to snap its five-game losing streak when it hosts James Madison on Thursday night in Foggy Bottom.

The 4-6 Colonials, who started the season 4-1, have dropped games to Kansas State, VCU, Loyola (MD), Syracuse and Bradley and 5-3 James Madison won't be an easy nut to crack, either. The Dukes out of the Colonial Athletic Association have won four of their past five games, the only loss coming against Kent State on Dec. 6.

They are paced offensively by leading scorer A.J. Davis, averaging 17.9 points per game, and Humpty Hitchens at 16.4 points per game.

The game will be one of George Washington's last opportunities to establish momentum heading into Atlantic Ten play. The Colonials will open their conference schedule at St. Bonaventure on Jan. 4.

The Colonials will look for a big performance out of leading scorer Tony Taylor, averaging 12.9 points and 4.7 assists per game.
